Aquatic activities or AQUATIVITY created in 2001 which evolved from a junior lifesaving sessions by SwimSmart founders Rob Bent and Steve Whitley who devised a specialized class for competent swimmers who wished to pursue their interest in swimming. Our unique programme allows swimmers to improve their strokes but also learn and develop new skills in the form of lifesaving, personal survival, water polo, basketball. We believe that physical fitness in our younger generation is at an all time low and its health implications are far reaching for future generations. Our club is addressing this problem by keeping children active and interested in all forms of aquatic activity.

• Class duration

These classes run for one hour at all venues.

• Class size

A class can have a maximum of 25 swimmers. Please call the office on 0208 998 7907 to check class availability.

• class levels

  • We have devised four ability levels; Bronze, Silver, Gold and Challenger. All groups work to award standard. Within each class students will learn:
  • Informative water safety education
  • Deep water adaptation and skills
  • Areas of accident prevention, survival and rescue, emergency life support and first aid.
  • A variety of aquatic skills through physical activity such as diving, stroke technique, fitness training and treading water.
  • An opportunity to learn and enjoy new water based games including water polo, basketballl.
